Seeking highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead business development/sales activities for one of the company’s top territories in the municipal water markets of MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT.  In this position you would be responsible for BOTH direct sales activities to municipal and private water utilities AND managing, training and challenging distributors within your region. Excellent income potential includes generous base and uncapped commission – step into an existing and strong pipeline of sales opportunities in region!

Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share; sell directly to water utilities within MA, ME, NH, RI and VT.
  • Manage, train, support and challenge distributors in the region to increase market share.
  • Leverage consultative sales techniques, strong relationship management skills, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to your customers.
  • Understand customer needs and wants, industry trends, and new product ideas.
 
What you will need to be successful in this technical sales role:
 
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven track record of results.   Experience selling into Municipal Water Industry highly preferred.
  • Must be highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills a must.
  • Ready to travel throughout the region, generally no more than 1 overnight a week.  
  • Must reside in territory, with ideal location being Central Massachusetts.

Company offers: an excellent base salary; a generous, uncapped sales commission program; vehicle; paid expenses; and full benefits including company-matched 401K.  Top sellers can earn $200K+ annually.
